Community Workshops
Kim works with a variety of charities and community organisations. Charities include Support to Recovery where she works part time, Mermaids (supporting trans, non-binary and gender diverse kids), Aspire (Huddersfield-based charity reducing isolation in older generations), Growing Works (Huddersfield-based outdoor therapy) and more.
Community work includes ongoing mindful embroidery sessions with parents at a Dewsbury based school, sewing workshops for migrant and refugees (with Thread Republic), regular workshops in Huddersfield Libraries (with S2R) and lots more.
“Kim is a fantastic session facilitator. Organised, calm and adaptable she is an absolute pleasure to work with. She brings the joy of creating to all of the workshops she delivers, enthusing participants and emphasising the importance of enjoying the process , not judging yourself harshly. Lots of interesting, engaging and enjoyable activities on offer. Highly recommended”
