Jesmonite Coaster at Scarborough North Yorkshire Art School

  • North Yorkshire Art School 2-4 South Street Scarborough, England, YO11 2BP United Kingdom (map)

Create your own coasters and trinket tray with artist and maker Kim Searle using a variety of moulds. Jesmonite is a versatile material that will create a different outcome every time - you'll learn how to weigh it, mix it, add colours and textural effects to create something unique to you. They can be made with pale pastels or vibrant colours, block colours or fantastic marbled effects. You will be able to take your creations away with you that day. It is advised to bring an apron/large shirt if you want to keep your clothes clean - Jesmonite washes out in the washing machine but it can be a messy process Because Jesmonite is quick to set, you will be able to take your creations home with you at the end of the workshop. Sunday 13 October 2024 10am - 12.30pm with Kim Searle This workshop takes place at: North Yorks Art School 2-4 South Street Scarborough YO11 2BP Includes all materials and refreshments.
