Join artist and maker Kim Searle to learn the Japanese art of Kumihimo braiding and create your own unique bracelet.

About this event

Kumihimo braiding is a really absorbing and addictive form of braiding with a wide range of coloured cords. Easy to grasp and lots of fun, it's like French Knitting for adults. Originating in Japan, this ancient craft has been used to secure samurai armour, clothing, homewares and more. By the end of the session you should have at least one professional looking finished bracelet.
