Lino Print for Ukraine

  • Byram Arcade Westgate Huddersfield, England, HD1 United Kingdom (map)

In this fun but informative workshop session we'll be exploring the art of lino printing. Working under Kim's supervision you will learn how to handle lino printing tools, how to create an effective design, how to load ink onto your lino and how to produce clear prints. There will be various different sunflower images to inspire your own lino sunflower creation. There will be card blanks, paper and more to print on but you're welcome to bring your own items to print on too.

You can find an article here on the significance of the sunflowers in Ukraine:

I'd recommend wearing messy clothes! The workshop will take place in the centre of Byram Arcade, if it's a chilly day it can be cold so layer up.

Skill level: Suitable for beginners as well as those looking for a refresher.

While refreshments aren't provided, Arcade Coffee is next door and has a wonderful range of options.

£2 of every ticket will cover materials- this will cover lino blocks

This is a fundraiser session, produced as part of the To Ukraine with Love project. £23 from each ticket sale will be donated directly to the AUGB (Association of Ukrainians in Great Britain), who have humanitarian aid on the ground in Ukraine.

EventBrite fees will be added before you pay
