Create your owncoasters and trinket tray with artist and maker Kim Searle using a variety of moulds. Jesmonite is a versatile material that will create a different outcome every time - you'll learn how to weigh it, mix it, add colours and textural effects to create something unique to you. They can be made with pale pastels or vibrant colours, block colours or fantastic marbled effects. You will be able to take your creations away with you that day!

This workshop will take place in Butlers at Kirkstall Forge. There's a train station on site and Kirkstall Forge wants to encourage sustainability, but if you'd like a parking space let me know and we can get one arranged. Sadly the cafe will not be open, but you’re welcome to bring your own drinks and snacks.

Safety:

There will be hand sanitiser available, social distancing in place and spaces will be limited.. If you feel unwell, have symptoms of covid or have been in contact with anyone who has please let me know so you can be moved onto a future session. If we go into another lockdown this workshop will be postponed until a safe date.

Course conditions:

The workshop needs minimum numbers to run. In the unlikely event it doesn't meet this the workshop will be cancelled. Your booking is secured by payment and if you choose to cancel you get a refund up to 7 days before the event however after that no refund can be given. Please don’t arrive more than 10 minutes before the workshop is due to start unless previously arranged.
