Modern Rag Rug Techiques Workshop at The Craft Barn

In this session you'll learn the vintage craft of Rag Rugging, a craft that's been up-cycling rags into rugs for hundreds of years. It takes a while to make a whole rug so in this session you'll get a good taster and will be able to take away materials to continue.. You'll learn two different kinds of rag rugging and lots of tips on how to perfect it. There will be a wide range of fabric scraps, recycled materials, colourful rope, buttons and other things to choose from to make your piece unique.

The workshop costs £25 or £22 low/no income/student,.The workshop will take place at The Craft Barn, a beautiful and airy space in Hadfield!

Venue details:

The room is up a flight of stairs so is sadly not wheelchair accessible however if this is an issue let me know in advance and I'll see if we can move downstairs.

Course conditions:

The workshop needs minimum numbers to run. In the unlikely event it doesn't meet this the workshop will be cancelled. Your booking is secured by payment and if you choose to cancel you get a refund up to 2 days before the event however after that no refund can be given.

Please don't arrive more than 10 minutes before the workshop is due to start.
