Festive Macrame Decorations at Kirkstall Forge
This session we'll be making our own macrame decorations from a variety of cords. It's the perfect craft for anyone who likes to make their own decorations and learn new craft techniques. You'll learn all the macrame knots you'll need to make a variety of different designs and you should leave with a few finished pieces and a few instructional sheets to make more at home.
This workshop will take place in Butlers at Kirkstall Forge. There's a train station on site and Kirkstall Forge wants to encourage sustainability, but if you'd like a parking space let me know and we can get one arranged. The cafe sadly isn't open during workshops but do feel free to bring your own drinks and snacks.
Course conditions:
The workshop needs minimum numbers to run. In the unlikely event it doesn't meet this the workshop will be cancelled. Your booking is secured by payment and if you choose to cancel you get a refund up to 7 days before the event however after that no refund can be given.
There will be hand sanitiser available, social distancing in place and spaces will be limited. If you feel unwell, have symptoms of covid or have been in contact with anyone who has please let me know so you can be moved onto a future session.
Please don't arrive more than 10 minutes prior to the workshop unless previously discussed.

Eco Hub have teamed with Kim of Darn It to bring you this fabulous Macrame workshops. In this session we'll be making our own macrame decorations from a variety of up-cycyled cords and recycled t-shirts. It's the perfect craft for anyone who's loves something different for their Christmas trees! You'll learn all the macrame knots you'll need to make a variety of different designs and you should leave with one finished piece and a few instructional sheets to make more at home.
£25 pp
COVID WORKSHOP INFORMATION:
If you have any symptoms of COVID please do not attend the workshop.
The workshop and Eco Hub services will have been throughly cleaned beforehand, surfaces and equipment will be cleaned throughout the event.
There is a maximum of 6 people in the Eco Hub Workshop or 10 in our alternative workshop area (Lucy's Cabin).
Hand sanister and antibactiral wipes will be available throught the workshop should you need.
We offer a well ventilated work area.
Masks or visors are required during demonstrations or moving around the workshop, but optional whole seated at your work area.
CANCELLATIONS
If you cancel the place at least 1 month before the date of the workshop you will receive a refund less £5 admin fee, this applies to ALL cancellations.
If less than 1 month of the date, we will only be able to offer a refund if the place can be filled.

Macrame Plant Hanger Workshop at Wild Cafe
Join Kim from darn it workshops + learn how to make your very own macrame plant hanger using a mixture of recycled +eco materials.

Make a Macramé Plant Hanger and a Ceramic Plant Pot(2 successive workshops)
Join us at The Clay Mill for a 2 part workshop over two Saturdays to create a hand-built ceramic pot in Week 1 (3rd June with Ammie. We will be pinching, forming and adding texture to a beautiful clay. There will be a choice of coloured clays, White, Black or Terracotta and the option to add a glaze colour surface. Pots will be fired during the week ready for Week 2
In Week 2 (10th June) join talented textile artist Kim Searle, to make your complimentary macramé plant hangers from a variety of cords and recycled t-shirts. It's the perfect craft for anyone who's window ledges are overflowing with plants! You'll learn all the macramé knots you'll need to make a variety of different designs and you should leave with one finished piece and a few instruction sheets to make more at home.
During the workshop you'll get to choose your own colour and style of cord to work with the style of plant hanger to suit your pot. There will be step by step patterns to follow and refreshments to keep us all going.
Macramé Christmas Decorations at Duttons
Enjoy good company and festive crafting whilst you learn how to make oh-so-chic macramé decorations to dress your tree or wreath. There are a number of designs to choose from and plenty of time to learn all the knots you did to make more at home.
